There are different Tribal art tattoos and they entail their own symbolic meaning.  Despite the original tribal design occurring accidentally, tribal designs are definitely fashionable today and their popularity keeps rising.

These can mean a number of things and this depends on the type that has been used. According to ancient folklore, kings used dragons for the purpose of guarding treasures that remained hidden in caves. Rumor had it that only people with the ability to overcome the dragons could get to the treasures. This also presented a problem with the kings because they also found it difficult to get t their treasures. People know dragons to symbolize fire, earth, water and air. Warriors found within Greek and Roman empires used dragon designs to symbolize terror. Dragons breathing fire or the basic trial designs are used for denoting power, magic, loyalty, nobility and it is people who want to show themselves as being extra ordinary that use them.

The Haida are a group of tribes that existed in America’s North West coast. Here, it is the tribal bear designs, fish designs and beaver designs that were predominant.
