Genetic Tattoo

Currently people get a tattoo, which is cut into their skin and then perhaps colored in. Body Art is a way to self-express one’s self and there is probably no better way to make a statement about your individuality than with a personalized tattoo. In the future there will be genetic tattoos, which will keep your tattoo perfectly the same for your natural life. You will be able to get translucent skin with a deep tissue tattoo which can be a three dimensional tattoo similar to a hologram. You will be able to get any color found anywhere in nature and you can choose what you would like.

Genetic Tattoos will be available within the next couple of decades, the first ones will be used to indicate security clearances for secret government and military operations and then later these technologies will pass into the private sector thru medical transfer technologies and then into Tattoo Parlors with these specialized Genetic Tattoo machines. Dads can get the family portrait on the insides of the forearms and never need to dig into their wallet for motivation or a reminder of why they do what they do. Veterans will never forget the fallen comrades and anyone who wishes to say anything can say it permanently in style with a 3D genetic tattoo. Think on this.

3D Tattoos Available Soon Says Futurist

A futurist recently stated in an online think tank that he believed that genetic 3D tattoos maybe possible within the next couple of decades. He went onto predict that the use of cell expression, cell coating and genetic modification using the latest cutting edge discoveries would indeed aid in the process. The Futurist was latter asked about uses for such a novelty and claimed that such advances in tattoo research would have valuable application in security and military as well as the current and most common use of tattoos; individuality and self expression.

A fellow thinker online stated that; “3-D genetic tattoos can be used for identification purpose instead of finger printing the hologram will absorb and reflect a certain combination of wavelength which can be recognised or sensed by a biosensor or a DNA chip having the same sequence of that person.”

The futurist answered in reply; “Well yes, I was watching a discovery channel special on Tattoos in Russian Gulag and Tattoos are used by gangs for affiliation identification and people use them for self-expression of individualism and identity, you are long the lines of my thinking. I was merging many topics into one.

But also realizing that this is 20-years out for human scientists currently. You will find many original thoughts of mine on this website, based loosely on scientific discoveries or trends, which indicate potential eventualities of future events.”

Imagine a future with 3D Tattoos on humans with areas of translucent skin, tattoos which could be turned on or off by frequency switches. Incredible thoughts indeed and worthy of mention as it appears it will be not only a bright and colorful future, but one in 3D. Consider all this in 2006.

Hawaiian Arm Tattoos

Hawaiian culture was a popular trend in the 1950s and 1960s, but when it comes to tattoos, it was not until the mid 1980s when Hawaiian motifs returned with colorful shirts and tie-dyed shirts popularized by celebrities, singers and bands, including Weird Al Yankovik. It was during those years when Hawaiian Arm Tattoos began to be worn.

From discreet floral and tribal designs to Hawaiian words and phrases, Hawaiian designs usually express a message by themselves. Today it is usual to find people wearing Hawaiian arm tattoos saying "Aloha" (Hello), "E Kipa Mai" (Come to Me), "Mau Loa" (Forever), "Mahalo E Ke Akua No Keia La" (Thanks God for this day), and many other phrases appealing to the Hawaiian lifestyle.

Hawaiian arm tattoos can be as sophisticated as real arm bracelets and banglers, but with artistic designs accurately drawn onto the skin. The natural beauty of Hawaiian tribal designs is highly appreciated for those wanting uniqueness. Designs of Aloha shirt designs, also known as Hawaiian shirts in continental USA, are often transported to Hawaiian Arm Tattoos.

However, contrary to those shirts commercialized in the early 1930s by Chinese merchants living in Waikiki, Tattoos were not popularly accepted until the 1960s in the form of discreet designs on the ankle. The Natural beauty of Hawaiian designs made it possible for the triumphal comeback of Hawaiian Arm Tattoos in the 2000s.

Although Hawaiian tattoos must not be confused with Tribal Tattoos, in arm designs they usually meet each other. This association is as natural as the Australasia cultures linked to Hawaii, such as the Polynesian, Samoan and Maori, where arm tattoos are part of their respective cultures, representing different ranks of statuses in tribal and religious traditions that still survive.

Curiously, Hawaiian Arm Tattoos are considered the fastest growing trend in tattoo art anywhere in the world. Hawaiian arm tattoos can also represent natural scenarios in miniature or ancient symbols of power and even healing properties. In addition, Hawaiian arm tattoos are not only desirable, but also one of the most widespread forms of tattooing.

Like any other type of tattoo, choosing the design is as important as deciding the tattoo clinic were tattooing will be performed. In fact, there are books written expressly to divulge this expression of art, such as the "The Hawaiian Tattoo" a privately published book, by P.F. Kwiatkowski, making a review of the origins and designs of Hawaiian Arm Tattoos and other tattoos' designs.

Tattoo Removal And Reduction

Today, tattoos have become more popular than ever with the advent of popular reality shows like Miami Ink and others. Many people that would have never before considered a tattoo are flocking in droves to get them done. Some do not put a lot of thought or think in the long term before having a tattoo done.

They put names of girlfriends, boyfriends, their mom, gang affiliation, crimes, etc. on their body and then after they break up with their girlfriend or similar a few weeks or months later they regret the tattoo. Worse, some even get tattooed on areas like the face and hands that can make a regular career or advancement in a professional setting impossible. This is where tattoo removal and tattoo reduction come in.

Excision

Excision is using a scalpel or similar to remove the affected area and then suturing and pulling together the skin to minimize scarring. If the tattoo is large or covers a big area than skin grafts may be necessary as the skin can only be pulled so taught before it will look worse, not heal right and possibly even pull apart.

Skin grafts are usually taken from areas inside the thighs and underarms where scarring will be minimal and largely unseen. Excision is surgery and does usually require a sedative or even anesthesia in cases with large tattoos. Due to the advent of lasers and TCA skin peels for tattoo removal, excision is rarely used anymore.

TCA skin peel

Chemical peels have been around in various forms for over half a century. They were first used for treating tough calluses and corns on the feet. About 20 years ago doctors started experimenting on different areas of the skin like the face with varying strengths and mixtures. It was found that a 25 to 50 % TCA skin peel was the most effective and easiest to apply. It was also found that this peel could affect deeper skin problems like acne scarring, wrinkles and then unwanted tattoos.

The TCA skin peel causes a controlled burn which results in several layers being peeled off and fresh, new skin being revealed. Many doctors now use the TCA skin peel as a very effective tattoo removal and reduction treatment. It can be either used alone or incorporated with the laser treatments described below which actually hastens healing and further reduces the chances of scarring. The TCA skin peel is so easy to use that it is now available for in home use for tattoo removal (something you will never see with laser treatment and excision).

Are Tattoos Okay For Christians?

Should Christians get tattoos?

Tattoos are everywhere these days. It used to be that we would only see tattoos on sailors, service men and bikers.

Now every one seems to have them from politicians to teachers, from rock stars to celebrities. These days tattoos are the fashionable thing to do because they have been forbidden for so long.

We see young preachers with tattoos of crosses and Jesus, who call it a witnessing tool.

No matter what the tattoo depicts it is still a tattoo. Someone still had to take a needle and use ink to draw on our bodies.

The world is full of people who have these markings on their arms, backs, faces, legs and many other unmentionable places. The Believers have joined the bandwagon, thinking it is cool and that everyone is doing it.

We, as Believers, are not to be conformed to this world (Romans 12:1-2).

We are not to be conformed to their way of thinking. Not about fashion. Not about sports. Not about politics. Not about tattoos. Not about anything.

We are not to be followers but leaders. We are not to follow trends but be trend setters.

Even to Believers, God's ways of thinking and doing things seem backwards. They aren't, but we don't understand God's ways.

Instead we automatically do what we see our favorite celebrity doing. What everyone else is doing.

We are called to be separate from the world. We are called to be different.

More and more, though, the church and the people of God are looking like the world in their speech, dress and activities.

If we look like carbon copies of the them, how will the world tell what God has done in our lives?

We are not to be conformed to what the world is doing. We need to do things according to the Word of the Most High God--the Bible.

What does the Bible say about tattoos?

It says we shouldn't mark or cut our bodies (Leviticus 19:28).

Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost (I Corinthians 6:19). It is where the Holy Spirit lives (Romans 8:9).

Just as we wouldn't defile or mark on the outside of a church building, we shouldn't mark the outside of the real temple of the Holy Spirit--us.

Imagine all the ways, though, that we do defile the temple of the Holy Spirit through what we say, think and put into our bodies. Not to mention what we do to them when we do drugs, drink to excess or are promiscuous.

When we conform to the world, to their fashion, to their movies and their way of thinking, our boundaries between right and wrong become blurred.

Little by little, we move the line of what used to be right and wrong just a little further into their territory.

Now we are watching things we used to think were wrong. We are listening to music we used to object to. We are doing things that we would have never done before. The boundaries between right and wrong are harder to distinguish.

We have to pay attention to what we are watching, what we are reading, what we are listening to, who we are hanging around. These factors will determine what our life will be like and whether our boundaries will be blurred.

We need to use the Bible as our moral compass. It should be the final authority in our lives. What it says is the final answer. Learn to follow its direction.

When we get a tattoo, some consequences can occur. If we don't go to a reputable place, we can be injected by a dirty needle. We can be infected with AIDS or hepatitis. The tattoo could get infected. We could be allergic to the ink they use in the tattoo.

Once we are tattooed, we have ink flowing through our blood. Even if we have it removed, we will still have a flesh outline of where the tattoo once was, and we will still have ink in our blood.

If we want to be in a professional job, or any job dealing with the public, we will have to wear clothes that cover up the tattoo(s). Jobs of this nature require it.

We are called to be salt (Matthew 5:13) and light (Matthew 5:14) to a dying world, and we are called to be an example to them. We must show them that godly living--good, clean living--can be prosperous and fun.

They must see something different about us--about the way we act, talk, walk and conduct ourselves. We need to let God shine through us.

We are God's ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20) to the world, who are craving and seeking something that will fill the void in their lives. We are to be that light. The example that brings them into God's kingdom.

Shooting Stars Tattoos

The universe has always attracted the attention of ancient civilizations, including the Egyptian, Greek, and Roman. Mesoamerican cultures such as the Mayan were immersed in astrology and astronomy since the beginning of times, but the magic of Shooting Stars Tattoos was something that they never considered to catch those errant stars.

Because all tattoos have a symbolic meaning that everybody or just one person can appreciate, the individual who wants to have them can only determine the importance of wearing a Shooting Star Tattoo. Actually, most people associate them with the firmament and also with a sort of magic, that mankind has always wanted to learn.

Traditional Shooting Stars Tattoos usually include a trail of delicate smaller stars, multicolored, in contrasting color or with special pigments to remark the magic of this particular design. Trails can elongate as much as necessary, making this the ideal designs for wearing on the arm, legs or back.

A few people dare to wear petite and subtle Shooting Stars Tattoos on their cheeks, which look terrific when a skill artist is chosen to perform this work. Shooting Stars are also associated with Fantasy Tattoos and Fairy Tattoos, so they can be a stand-alone designs, or part of a composition of forms.

Almost any star can serve for the purpose of designing Shooting Stars Tattoos, with the exception of the Star Nautical, the Star of David and the different types of pentacles associated with New Age beliefs. Although, it will always be possible to attach a trail of small star to these images, you may obtain unexpected results.

Shooting Stars Tattoos can be stylized or have a cartoon-like look; the appearance of your tattoo is a matter of your personal choice. Sometimes star shapes or trails are combined in tribal art, particularly Celtic designs, that sometimes are thought to have powers of their own, and otherwise they are just an attractive body decoration.

Stars have been part of our galaxy for probably billions of years, and even knowing the scientific cause of the Shooting Stars crossing the firmament, people are still captivated by their metaphysical sortilege. The mystery will remain but Shooting Stars Tattoos are a reality whenever you want to have one.

We can easily say that there are as many variants of these tattoos as stars are in the sky. Everything matters when choosing the most appropriate for your personality, browsing among all the available designs or even better, designing your own tattoo to reflect what a shooting star means to you.
